Unhappy problems
any one have any ideas ......i got an 83 celica supra with a 2.8L DOHC completely stock and the speedometer doesnt work ..... i put a new cable in it and some one told me that the gear in the tranny might be junk .... but i cant remember for the life of me what that gear was called........ any ideas??? all help is appreciated.... thanx

sounds like the Vehicle Speed Sensor to me which is located on the tranny housing

yeah, that'd be the VSS but i'm not sure what the gear itself would be called.
