the gas is 2 years old... drain it... or just burn it off?
its in a moped...

yep, drain it. I don't know really what to do with it after that though, we just throw it on the burn pile.

put it in a coffee can..... move coffee can away from anything flammable..... get marshmallows/chocolate/graham crackers ready... ignite...... make smores... call it a night

do like we did and just leave it sitting next to the garage. Eventually some idiot will take it and try to put it in their car/motorcycle/lawn mower. Disposes of the gas and punishes a theif. 2 birds with 1 stone.

my dad's boss had two mopeds that sat for 4, make that 4 years. old gas and all. he turned one on and after a little while of black smoke i think they said the gas ran out, and put fresh gas in there. i wouldnt risk it tho.

it will varnish up, drain it, and put new gas in. also, any water that was in there could have started to rust your tank.

I just drained about 2 liters of gasoline in this scooter that's been sitting there for about a year. and it was fucking yellow! color of fresh motor oil!!
i thought gasoline was big blueish clear!

Always use old gass to start a fire
If you didn't drain the carb on the moped before you stored it then you will probably have to take the carb apart and clean the main and pilot jets out, also the float needle
