hey everyone. i was thkning of getting these, and would like to hear from some of you what you all think about em. do they deliver too much of the vibrations o the engine through the car, or is it standable, or is it erally annoying on a trip longer then 10 minutes? i need to know, so id really appreciate it if you guys would help me. i think i need a new engine mount or 2, i dont feel like replacing them all together so i was gonna get the mount insert kit. i mean, what actually goes bad in a motor mount, the rubber, not the metal. so ill replace the bad rubber with the energy insert and ill be good. but my only concern is the drivability for a daily driver. thanks in advance guys.

I have the Prothane ones in my car. I only installed the Driver Side and Passenger Side, not the Rear Mount insert.
I posted about them slipping out here... ...a little tip that hopefully you won't have to use.

Anyway they are really easy to install and yes they do transmit some vibration to the cabin. I don't know how to convey to you how much without you sitting in my car (I'll be in Atlantic City this weekend...is that near milford?...)
But I'm a relatively picky guy when it comes to noises and vibrations and it's tolerable for me. Actually I've totally gotten used to it, it doesn't bother me at all. It's definitely not bone jarring or anything. You just might notice the rear view mirror vibrating at cold idle. It's almost a satisfying purr that suggests there's something gonig on under the hood without being obnoxious.
There are other benefits besides the OEM mount support - they also reduce wheel hop and theoretically result in more direct transmission of power to the wheels and thus faster acceleration (negligible but if you're looking for exuses )

Anyway I recommend them. Hell they're $30 so try them and if you don't like them sell them for $15...nothing lost.

maybe ill rey em out. it DEFENATELY beats spending hundreds of dollars replacing every mount in the car. i have a prelude so my mounts are a bit different then that. thanks for the input man. i really appreciate it.

No problem, and good choice.
I just checked and saw that milford is 2.5 hours from AC...so forget about checking them out in my car. You'd spend more in gas getting there and back than you would spend on the inserts

yeah, its defenately not close. my mom is down the shore near ac this weekend, but i dont think you want her to test out the mounts, she cant drive stick well lol
