Massive Hp Out of Electricity...

Yeah thats Right i guy that had a 1200 Hp turbo 40 psi civic told me today he new plans and i didnt belive it...

The NEDRA.com is where u need to start looking but here is an example

1200hp?

*raises BS flag*

From what i've seen of electric vehicles, the batteries are too heavy to make them go fast. 11.0 isn't terrible but a guy with a "1200hp civic" wouldn't be dreaming of going backwards.

electric motors have a lot of torque, so if the car was geared correctly some high speeds could be achieved. The thing about the 20 batteries is that since the car was built to drag race, they don't need to have a long lasting charge. They just need however many seconds, so they don't need to be enormous.

about the civic having 1200 hp... 300 HP per cylinder... errr, bs?
