exhaust grounding???
ok i came across this http://www.eautoworks.com/html/ORD-1-1-1-26498.cfm . ive never exactly heard of this before. am i missing something? look at all the things it says it fixes or prevents . i dunno about this. and even if it does work, why would someone spend $35 plus shipping on something you can go to walmart and get the parts you need to make this for under $10.00
so, im curious. is this something that might actually serve a purpose?

first time i've ever seen something like this. Don't see what function it could serve.
But people pay a lot of money for grounding kits that can be made for $10 too.

News flash, you engine is grounded, your exhaust is bolted to the engine, and the exhaust is metal, what do we know about metal??? It is a great conductor, therefor if your exhaust is hooked up it is grounded, even though their is no need for it to be. It is just another thing to get your money.

if youre talking about it on that level, then for a piece of pipe like an exhaust, it would help to have a grounding point every so often. each length of metal (lets use 10 feet as an example), every 2 feet on that 1 piece of metal may have 4 ohms of resistance and anything after that the resistance may dwindle down to nothing. so in that case, every 2 feet you would want a ground strap.
this is just an example to explain an theory, im not saying "this is how it is". but again, i really dont think its necessary.
