I am not sure what your car reccomends, but I've heard that Prestone is a good choice. Check your manual for any specifics though

factory recommends at least dot 3, which covers pretty much all the fluids out there. im looking for something that is NOT dot5, has minimal water absorbtion, and high wet and dry boiling points.
valvoline synpower looks pretty good. motul also looks good.

Expensive and hard to find but .....
ATE Super Blue is the ONLY WAY to fly!!!
I ran it in the NSX and now the CRX. After a bunch of hard laps at Watkins Glen and Limerock this brake fluid shows no sign of boil or fade. It's truly amazing. If you talk to any other "road racer" they will tell you the same thing.

any specs on the super blue? wet/dry boiling points? does it absorb alot of water? most importantly, is it dot 4?

Fluid...............Dry BP....Wet BP....Cost/oz
DOT 3 Spec......401........284
DOT 4 Spec......446........311
DOT 5 Spec......500........346
Synpower.........513........333........$0.15
ATE 200/S.Blue..536........392........$0.29
Motul DOT 5.1...509........365........$0.70
Motul R'cing600.585.........421.......$0.72
Castrol SRF.......590........518........$1.86
So as you can see, Synpower is way above DOT4, and right there with most of the racing fluids. SRF is a whole new magnitude of performance and what we used, exclusively, on the racecar. But it's a little pricey.

the valvoline synpower is almost up there with the blue, but the motul 600 surpasses most of them. since time is short, and i would like to have the brake lines on the car before the next auto cross, ive decided to go with the valvoline synpower, and im going to order the motul600 and ill bleed out the synpower if i deem it unworthy.
the synpower really is cost effective, so it doesnt hurt so much, i think theyre like 7 bucks for 32 fl. oz. at pepboys.
after ive installed the brake lines, maybe ill do a little installation writeup for you guys .

If you want to go extreme there's always Wilwood EXP 600 Plus Super High-Temp. 626 degrees F with a wet boiling point of 417 F. It's really for racing applications though.
