place to get a cheap 4-wire o2 sensor?

I'm doing my obd1 conversion coming up and need a 4-wire o2 sensor. I'm debating just pulling a used one out of another car BUT i swear i saw someone that said autozone sold universal ones that were like $35. Anyone have any more info on that or am i imagining things?

Fukk soldering. I never do it. Just splice it and wrap the connection in alot of electrical tape and put split-loom over that.

note: I'm doing an obd1 conversion so i have to soldier on new connectors to make it plug and play anyways. Won't be hard to soldier the other end on...

So those universal ones will work? I found a denso one for a Honda on ebay for $60 that'd require no soldiering but i'd rather do some soldiering if i can get one for $35 (i'd probably soldier on a factory connecter ).

like i told a couple guys in the lube forum, you would have an easier time ( though a bit mor eexpsensive in your case ) to get a ready 4 wire O2 sensor and stretch the harness itself....alot let issues that way...

why dont you just put a wide band o2 into it? Im guessing that you are switching to obd1 for tuning reasons?? If that is wha you are doing, a wideband is the only way to go!!!

widebands are 2 times as expensive and last a quarter the amount of time as a narrowband. unless hes got an air/fuel meter, he doesent need one. if he ever gets the car dyno tuned, the shop will provide a temporary wideband for the tuning.

a good wide band will last just as long as a narrowband one, and yes they are expensive, but well worth it in my eyes

i do plan to get a wideband but i didn't think about using one to run the ecu. I know they make a box to convert the signal to narrowband. A wideband (with controller) is like $300 though. I can buy a wideband o2 seperate but i'd still need the box to tune off of it i'd think. I'm just rambling, i'll do some research later when i'm not on an apple laptop

what kind of gauge? If it's an autometer or something designed to work with a narrowband o2 it won't work without a converter. Mach V sells them.
