siezed engine! HELP!!

well i just found out that my engine is siezed, prolly just from sitting too long. the guy that discovered this says to take out the spark plugs and pour diesel fuel in each of the ports so that it covers about 1/2" above the pistons, and let it seep down. cause diesel acts like a lubricant. this is what he says, i trust him, but i want to get some second opinions about this and triple make sure before doing this. another way of doing it is using a breaker bar on the crankshaft to break it loose. HELP! this is my brand new DOHC ZC engine we're talking about here!

if i was you, i wouldn't do that, diesel fuel is also a detergant, it will loosen up stuff you dont want lossened up. i would just rebuild the motor or make them give you back your money, and buy a new one

You could get a big ass bar on the crank bolt and see if you can turn it backwards a little.

Or, you can take this as a sign to throw in high compression pistons, or low compression pistons, or whatever.

Don't listen to any of them go to your local hardware store and buy some marvel mystery oil and fill the cylinders rite full, put the plugs back in and let it set for about a week. Remove plugs afterwards and gently turn engine over by hand, what i mean by this is use your hands on the crank pulley and work it back and forth very slowly, it will break it loose i'm for sure, i know this from personal experience.

I'm going to have to agree with the diesel fuel and Seafoam ideas.

Diesel fuel acting like a detergent is the whole point here. And if it does ruin something (if anything, just the crank seal,) the motor needed to be rebuilt anyway because it already had some leaks that were being plugged by carbon.

If the diesel fuel or Seafoam doesn't do it (do one or the other, both is unecessary), either 1) have it rebuilt, 2) try to exchange the motor for one in better shape or, 3) get another one if it can't be exchanged. Just depends on your mechnical ability or budget.

I would personally rebuild it. Good learning experience if you don't know how, and for a few hundred dollars you can turn it into a new motor.
