Going to NSXStock 2006 on Sunday - Tuner-Junction

I've been invited to a NSX only event with RIO on Sunday May 21st. This is actually a huge honor since it's a NSXCA sponsored event only for NSXs. We're supposed to have over 50 NSXs this year and I'll have the only other model Honda. It starts at 9:30AM we're all cruising to the Jersey shore for lunch and then going back to Bridgewater Acura for some tech sessions, more food, and a dyno event.

It's great because RIO finally will get to kick some NSX butt

Well....I'm back.....sort of. I got a call from my job on the way home that some machines went down so I had to stop to my job. Karen's has to sit here with me so this sucks bad

Anyway, today was pretty cool!! I got to see a lot of old NSX friends that I haven't seen in a while. It was pretty neat, I had about 30-40 people come over and stare at RIO. Actually all day people were coming over and complementing me and asking questions. I was very happy because I thought I was gonna be on the sidelines with so much other $$$ machines around. Everyone was pretty blown away which made me feel real good. But then......nobody wanted to run me on the highway

I had my one buddy in his 92 NSX with headers, exhaust and chip get frisky with me and I have video of it. I was behind him and he dropped to 3rd at 80mph and I went down to 4th. I ran up on his bumper and then passed him on the right......before almost driving into a SUV at 120mph

I'm gonna post the videos and photos when I get home. My other buddy with his Comptech SC NSX stayed away from me the whole ride. When we were at the shore he came up to me and said, "I saw you jump on it on the highway and that thing was fast!!" I replied that we have to go at it on the way home...... in so many words he said hell no!!Anyway, look for some photos by tonight

coo vid man....there was alot of traffic, is that more than normal? it would be frustrating to not be able to open it up for long periods at a time

Yup....Welcome to Jersey

Fortunately where I chose to make me home there's much less traffic. But, in this case we were heading to the shore so we knew it was gonna be bad. By the time we got there the whole group was broken up, we weren't able to stay together.

NY/NJ traffic is the worst. Theres always traffic. and its very aggravating you cant punch it for extremely long periods of time.
