Sup guys, ive been missing for a while, but i assure, i have still been working hard
so ive been dealing with a multitude of BS stuff thats going on right now, namely my moms insane idea to move her life up to NJ from atlanta... for her partner... but whatever, she can do as she pleases and thats another story.
but as some of you know, i had left my car sort of in a state of half way to where i wanted it. i have had an h23 intake manifold and throttlebody sitting around my house for months. it wasnt touched. so i decided to install it.
all im gonna say is that anyone whos claimed the h23 intake manifold goes right onto the f23 block, and can use the h23 thermostat, is wrong. it took a lot of work, a lot of modification and a lof of inginuity, but finally i got the h23 manifold mounted up and running on my car. after a few vacuum leaks, a few fuel leaks and some other things, it ran great. the car is driving a lot better than before and it sounds good too.
i also installed my oil pressure gauge i never installed when i put my turbo in, thats working too, andi used a cheap gauge pod and my A pilla cover to make a gauge pod for my boost gauge, so now its actually in view, which is great.
one thing that i still have not nailed down is my clutch. that bitch is still slipping!!! my stage 3 clutch masters is just not cutting it. after a fe minutes in traffic, the clutch gets so hot, i havew to pull over or risk not being able to get moving again. the clutch will slip so much that even cruising at 40 in 4th gear, a tap on the pedal and the car just revs right up, so its nearly impossible to drive.
my pedal height is good as far as i can see, i already adjusted that once. what else could it be? are my lines not bled enough? is my line leaking? the car engages and disengages gears great, the clutch pedal is always super stiff. its just after driving in traffic when its warm, the clutch gets way overheated really fast.
anyway, ill get some pictures and probably videos up here soon.
my new digital camera got stolen at the end of the school year, so ill have to figure something out.

I was wondering where you've been and how your car has been doing.
Sucks about your clutch, is that the only problem you still have?

im still at IU, and its good. classes are all good, i got a lotta work ahed of me this year, im looking forward to and dreading it. i just look froward to being back there living alone and not worrying about shit at my moms house, but at the same time, i always hate the thought of going back to school, my friends are awesome there but i just prefer being in atlanta.
