what clutch to get
ok so as you guys may know, i destroyed my clutch last night. now i need something thats rated to at least 300 crank ft/lbs of torque and is not a pucked or metal faced.
so far all ive come up with is the clutch masters stage 3 which is around 450 dollars, and then an fidanzay flywheel... the flywheel i can find but its the clutch that im limited to. i dnt mind brand as long as ive heard of it before and they are legitimate, and as long as it ISNT XTD or anything connected to XTD.
thanks all, i need info asap, im screwed right now

yardy, i know you know my setup but will the stg2 hold that much torque? i must have at least 300 at the crank to destroy another stg2 rated for 250ft lbs... either way, im open to anything. and ben, i looked into act and they have a stage 3 i guess, but its no better than the stg2 i had, its only rated to 270 ft/lbs, and the next one up is a 4 puck, then 6 puck, then the stage 6 or whatever it is is rated to like 380ft/lbs but is a solid faced, where as everything else is pucked, and i dont need that clutch or need to spend 500 on it. if they made a stage 4 with a solid face, id get it. i jsut cant get a pucked one for daily driving, it makes no sense at all, my car doesnt need that much clamping force.
im still leaning towards the CM but im gonna check out the pricing and specs on that exedy. any places in particular i shoudl look? looks like everyone has about the same price and its all pretty high

my accord made 241tq on the dyno. the clutch is 1.5 years old now and still isnt showing any signs of slipping.
im pretty sure that clutch is good enough for your application, i dont remember the exact specs for it, it should be over 300. plus its a great clutch for daily driving. only problem is a little chatter.
the clutch is actually a 3 puck cerametallic clutch.

yea see thats what i dont want, i dont want a pucked clutch or anby ceremetallic shit, i just want it organic. also the chatter isnt an option. i think im just going to get the clutch masters becaus i know they are good, my other friend whos building a turbo accord is using their 6 puck stage 5 and he recomends them, so i just need to choose a flywheel, and since the fidanza is cheap and i know theyre good i think ill just get that. its so reasonable compared to other companies so why not, its just gonna be easier if its a solid faced clutch

well guys i ordered the clutch masters because it was the best and highest torque rated solid faced clutch for my applicaation, so i figure that will be pretty much my best option. i also got the fidanza flywheel because, well it was the cheapest pretty much, and i don thtink they are a bad company by any means.
ill let everyone know when i get it and when its installed
