Hey guys...I made this thread specificallty for an accord forum I mod so I thought I would share with you all...enjoy
As you might know, with an increase in airflow comes a need for more fuel...it has to be pumped, through lines, and the last element to ensuring proper fuel flow into the motor is your injectors.
LINES
Factory Honda lines are -6AN which is sufficient to 500hp. If you really want more than that, -8AN should be enough for any accord.
PUMPS
A 190lph pump will support 400 flywheel hp, for more power and/or higher pressures a 255lph pump will be needed.
INJECTORS
I find it easiest to break it into 2 parts, size selection and then impedance.
Selection
(Power x BSFC) x (1 + Safety Margin) / (# of injectors) = lbs/hr
Power - Realistic maximum power
BSFC - Brake specific fuel consumption, should be between .65 and .70 for boosted cars (~.5 for you N/A heads reading this)
Safety Margin - 20% to cover your ass (entered in to the formula as 0.20)
To convert lbs/hr to cc/min (typical import injector units) you simply multiply the lbs/hr solution by 10.5.
You'll want to make sure you dont run ridiculously large injectors for your application or your tuner will have his work cut out perfecting idle and partial throttle fueling. On the other hand you dont want to run overly small injectors either (you can stretch them somewhat if you are nearing the 85% duty cycle cutoff by bumping the fuel pressure, but you cant expect miracles). For most moderate accord turbo applications 450cc injectors should be sufficient (a 600 flywheel hp build will require ~1000cc injectors just for reference and those of you that are looking for traction issues

).
Impedance
OBD1 vehicles were standard with peak and hold injectors (low impedance), people running an obd1 fuel management solution will want to run them which means either they plug in and work if youre odb1 (obd1 accords have the correct resistor box), or you need to add resistors inline/in a OEM box (or the ecu will fry) and modify the injector clips (switch to obd1 or xacto them to fit...when you have them in hand and go to fit them you WILL know what I am talking about). OBD2 vehicle came standard with high impedance saturated injectors. These are also made in higher flow varieties, but I doubt any of you will be using archaic tuning that would require them.
