DIY frame fixing???

how sturdy do you think that's gonna be?? DIY bodywork, okay... DIY frame fixing... uh, no. There's a reason insurance companies total out cars with frame damage.

But hey, lookin forward to the writeup!

its not totalled out. the damage isnt that bad because my car is so low that I went under the truck of the chick that cut me off and hit her tire. The bumper cleared but the headlight hood and fender didnt. So what I need to change is the radiator support headlight hood and fender. The part of the frame that was damaged was the part that holds up the fender. All a body shop would do to fix my car is put it on a rack and pull the frame. They want to charge me 500 bucks to do that. Its not that hard Ive done it before on another 5th gen accord and have seen old school gear heads to it a shit load of times.

All I needs a chain and maybee a hammer

I have two minor dents in my driver side fender. You can't even seem them in my sig. They are tiny. You got a DIY to get those out? I thought about two things:
1. One of those dent popper things like you see on TV
2. Removing the shroud in the fender and rubber-hammering it out? Would that fuck it up?

there's a cosmetic/body forum that this would probably be better suited in....

but as for those two minor dents of yours... I'm not convinced those dent pullers work... and if they do, they probably only work on larger-sized dents, something that's less rigid.

The thing about dents that I've learned is that once it's dented, it's expanded the molecules of the metal. When this happens, it's a literal impossibility to put the panel back in it's correct place and look like original without doing one of two things... either super-heating the metal to be hammered and re-formed, or using body filler to hide the dent. Both of which require sanding/repainting. You can pull the dent out or whatever, make it look okay, but it's never going to look like a new panel unless you do something like that.

a visit from the dent wizard can work wonders...a lot of the local dealers use them for any small lot dings on new cars, and a few shops have them do their ding repairs

we took out a couple of dings on my dads lumina fender and one on my accord. Take it off and bang the oposite end with a rubber hammer. That should pop it out. Its really easy with the small dents. Some times it cracks the paint when you do it from the flex. It hasnt happened to me but Ive heard of it happening

you're going to have to change battery series, or look at a different brand to get it much lighter, there's only a 4lb difference between a diehard gold and a red top (42lbs vs 38lbs), and a yellow top is a pound heavier than the diehard in a group 34-34R battery. group 35 would work, and weighs less than its group 34 counterpart (6.5lbs lighter for yellow top, and 5lbs lighter for red top). if you're really looking for a light weight battery, an odyssey drycell might fit the bill.

I ended up getting a diehard gold because the red top felt heavy to me so I didnt think it was worth the extra cash

better to bang metal on a hot day. make sure you have something backing the metal on the opposite side. gently tap with some force.

yah my step-father works at a car dealership, and he told me that they have those people do that for their cars on the lot. I guess I'll ask him when they are coming back. thanks for everyone's input on that.
