1986 Accord CA5 Aerodeck

Hello there...

Now I know that in the USA you never got this model Accord...

But my mate just bought one, and now we were sort of listing out the difficulties we could come up against if we wanted to put an H22a in there...

Has anybody here ever swapped and engine like that in a car that old?
the current engine is an A20a3

Thanks

if you guys check out www.3geez.com you will find a wealth of info on 3rd gen accords in particular. the h22 swap will be a pain in the ass, but b series swaps are easier in that chassis

Thats what we found out already as well... it's either going to be turboed, or swapped to a b16... or both

kinda looks like a civic with an accord front end. Don't know too much about that engine. but find out before hand if its gonna be easy for you guys to get parts for that motor. aftermarket and the such. i say drop a b18cR in there and have some fun. Total sleeper.
