eeeh...I don't know about that. Personally, I wouldn't buy it just because it seems a little fishy. The guy can't even spell.

he spelled one word wrong
idk much about the accord. but spelling one word is not a reason to call it fishy. I never use ebay.

HAHA! Ok I know that's not a good reason. Maybe my opinion shouldn't count because I do not deal with ebay, period.

its sad, people have such a bad oppinion about ebay, when if you just use good judgement, youll be fine. its porducts like that one that people get fucked in the ass by. just be carefull and buy stuff thats from a big seller with a lot of proper info, even if its a few dollars more.

Absolutely correct! I use ebay all the time, in fact. anything i've purchased for my car has gone through ebay. I often times ask the sellers questions prior to buying and i always look at there previous sales and feedback.
I don't know why people don't use ebay more. Of course there ARE scam artists out there, but generally it is your own fault if you allow yourself to be decieved.
I have told people in my dorm "yeah i bought this shirt off ebay"
and there like "what? you bought a used shirt?"
at that point i giggle a little and say, "no man, why don't you go look around ebay a bit and then tell me that everything is used"
Everything i have purchased on ebay was brand-spanking new, a lot of people need to think outside of the ...box, a little more often. (headlights and depo corners, grill, bumper lenses, wakaba, jdm sticker, coilovers (for the civic), lacoste polo....and much, much more)

OEM?? Uhhh what are you sources? I've owned a 5th gen Accord (f22b) and my Vtec NEVER engaged that low. Chipped...then yes ..but stock..I don't think so.

yes vtec engages between 2300-3200rpm. its economy, not performance...when vtec engages on the accord it only lets the second intake valves open fully rather than partially.
as far as the ecu...I wouldn't run a premade map to save my life. Every motor is individual and unique, there's no one tuning solution that will allow all motors of one type to make the most power reliably. You are better off converting to a p28 and getting tuned on uberdata or crome...you might want to take care of some more mods before worrying about that too much.

um, if your vtec never engaged that low, then your vtec....well it never engages.
I was unsure as to when my vtec engaged....I had searched around, i drove around and felt for minor gains...I figured it was around 3000 rpms but wasnt sure (this was before i joined a forum..i think) So what did i do? Installed a Vtec "indicator light". A simple LED wired from the ecu/vtec solenoid will illuminate when vtec engages.
i think you owe me a pos rep for teaching you something new.

what gives. I have like 10 reps and only 46 points.
I get personal satisfaction from the messages sent to me through reputation points. I don't give a sh*t about how many green blocks i have or that people may respect what i say more because i have a huge "rep".
Since you are a moderator/admin (it really doesnt matter to me which one you are) you better enforce the rules. Delete my reputation points.
Karma is a sum of all that an individual has done, is currently doing and will do. The effects of those deeds and these deeds actively create present and future experiences, thus making one responsible for one's own life, and the pain in others.
