The Type-R has hella compression as well. Make sure you have sufficient fuel octane at your local pump to run that with boost. If you are just going for a great pull with good power, might I suggest a GSR-turbo. Lower compression, still that nasty 1.8 torque, and much more boost friendly. Thats my 2 cents.
Exedy makes one helluva product, no doubt. If you do choose the GSR-Turbo, I would recommend a different intake. The dual-runner design is great for factory stuff. But for all out power and throttle response, it's just ok.
