B18c-R is going into 89 CRX DX, looking for turbo info
I have an 89 CRX DX and when I get back from Iraq I'm going to be dropping a B18c-R into it. I pretty much have all the research done on how I'm going to do it and everything. The only thing I have left to find out about is how I'm going to turbo it. I found a decent kit(atleast I think it is) from godspeedproject.com for $1400 and I know that on top of that I will want to swap out the exhaust mani that comes with it for a better one. On top of that I will need to upgrade the fuel system which I'm already doing. I'm going to put a walbro 255 fuel pump/filter, all new gas tank, all new hose, AEM fuel pressure regulator, and AEM fuel rail. I was also thinking of doing the injectors too, but I don't know what size I would want, or a decent brand. I think the stock intake mani is already very good so I wasn't intending on replacing that. I'm already going to replace the clutch and flywheel, though I'm still trying to figure out which brands would be good to go with. I have been told that competition clutch and exedy are good but I'm not quite sure. I would like to push only about 5-10 psi, I'm not looking to make this into a super car. I would like it to push 275-300 hp, more than that would be too much. I don't know a lot about turboing a car so any advice that I can get would be greatly appreciated.
